Our policy lasts 7 days from the date of order receipt. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a credit refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and packaging must be undamaged.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
All consumables and accessories are not covered with any warranty, ie. Torches, Cables, Welding Helmets and the such. Only electronic machines (Welding Machines) will be covered with a 12 Workshop Warranty. Warranty repair claims need to be delivered to The Welding Shop in Henley on Klip, once received The Welding Shop will forward the item to the designated supplier where a repair warranty procedure will take place. All warranty repairs will be accessed prior to repair in order to determine if the product failure is due to a factory fault or the user’s negligence. There is no set time frame on warranty repairs, this will be determined by the original supplier and will depend on their current workload, on average a repair my take 7 working days. The Welding Shop cannot be held responsible and/or commit to any refund until the full assessment has taken place and the machine is warranted in good working order.
Any returns/exchanges, if granted, will carry a 10% handling fee.
There are certain situations where only partial credit refunds are granted: (if granted)
- Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any items not returned in and with their original packing.
- Any items returned in damaged original packaging.
- Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your credit refund.
No cash or transfers will be granted for any refunds, only credit with our store will be allocated to your account with The Welding Shop.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your account with The Welding Shop.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received a notification of your credit being applied to your account, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
No refunds will be approved for items that have shown signs of use, are scratched or dent and have not been returned in their original packing undamaged.
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items/specials cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged and the manufacturer or main distributor agrees on the exchange. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at email@example.com and we will send you the relevant details of the manufacturer or main distributor for your exchange. The Welding Shop will not be responsible for any delivery costs.
To return your product, if granted, you will need to make the necessary arrangements for delivery to the manufacturer or main distributor at your own cost or you can negotiate this with the manufacturer or main distributor. We can provide you with a quotation for any collection or delivery which must be paid before the collection or delivery is booked.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. When receiving your credit to your account, the cost of the original shipping costs and return shipping costs will be deducted from your credit refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
When shipping your item you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item and are not held liable for any losses or damages caused during shipping.
